Saint Pepsi - Better

"Future Funk" is a bit of an odd genre label to me. It's mostly just repackaging an existing thing (disco house) as a "new" genre (if something now about fifteen years old can be called "new"!), but damn if I'm not a complete sucker for that sound. "Better" is one of my favorites. Saint Pepsi doesn't do much in the way of transforming his samples, but he's undeniably got a golden ear for them. Sometimes all a good song needs to do is make you feel good. And if you don't feel at least a little like breaking out into dance when you listen to this, you should check your pulse.
